Hi all,

Robert thank you very much for your effort in the openscenegraph project,
and for it's really high quality.it's a really great scene graph. I am
wondering how you manage a family, openscenegraph free services (forum), and
openscenegraph professional services. respect.

so the problem is quite complicated, i don't think that we need an other
mailing-list, forum concept. osg-users, osg-submissions,... are enought, but
what we should care about is that we should support robert
in answering the mailing list of osg-users, also me included, i often read
the question, but i rarely answer the topics. many of the question in
osg-users aren't so complicated to answer, even we are not as expiered as
robert is, but we all have enough expierence to support "younger" osg users
in a fast uncomplicated way. if you have a look at the last 100 posts, it's
mostly robert who answered some "stupid" questions, but we should support
him.

I feel that robert should be our senior "supporter" / reviewer and for
strategy question our responsable contact. so may in the future robert
should get some other guys to support him in answering questions in
osg-users. more complicated ones, we can also discuss with robert. because
robert so really important for this project and we need him for reviews of
new features (submissions).

Another important danger in this project is, what happens when something
happens to robert (burn out, new business,..., ...) and his don't longer
have time to spend as many time as he spend for the moment? is there in
the big world an university, ... , who could support robert in reviewing, ..
, .. to insure that in the worst case robert's life project never ends?

i like openscenegraph and its concept.

for all enjoy it,....

adrian

personal things : unfort i can not spend more time, unfort the 3d business
is not so big in my country :-( but i try to work on and on ... even beside
other projects :-) have fun.
