Hi -- The DatabasePager was changed recently so that it "has a" thread,
rather than "is a" thread. Check the archives for recent discussion
regarding the DatabasePager. Serge Lages also derives a class from
DatabasePager, so the discussion between he and Robert might be applicable
to your issue.

Hi all,
is there a concept how the new database pager is working. as i am using an
extended version of the database pager in my application, i requested once
for the osgDB::DatabasePager::prototype() method. i come just around
rebuilding
my application. there is no longer a database pager thread, means no longer
extended from openthreads.
how should i change the application, or should i change to default pager for
avoiding in near future next code changes?
