Hi Stewart,
It looks to me like you are compiling against an older version of
WxWidgets than the OSG's osgviewerWX example is written against, there
isn't much the OSG can do about this save for tightening up the CMake
checks for WxWidgets version
There were no SDL or GLUT errors in your lists, so did these work fine?
Is the standard osgviewer working any better?
Any progress on getting your OS upgraded?? The OSG is modern software,
while we do try to maintain reasonable compatibility to older OS's
this all depends upon the developers wishing to software old system
coming forward to help. As time marches on less and less people hang
on to these old system, so eventually compatibility will be lost, even
if its not policy, this applies too all open source and proprietary
software. If you are struggling along with an older OS then you will
be increasingly fighting an uphill struggle, at some point just
upgrading will be less effort than trying to patch lots of different
components - this would not only save you time and effort but others
trying to support you as well.
Robert.
