[osg-users] osgdem: altitude value of the destination database

Ok, thanks. But one question remains:

If I choose --cs "+proj=latlong +datum=WGS84" as target coordinate system, of which unit is then the z value ?
Are there any further calculation that has to be done except the multiplication with the matrix to get the value?

My goal is to get the z value as meters (mean sea level), while x/y should be long/lat...

Hi Michael,

osgdem in general works in meters for both x,y and z. However, you can set the target coordinate system yourself.

Robert.
