There is couple of differences with the community news and the  
projects news, the project news not self updating like the community  
news is now, so there is more control over what items stay on the  
front page. The community section is linked into the community news  
archive, so when i new item is added to that it automatically is  
added to the front page, also any news item older than a month will  
stop being on the front page. I was planing to look into the sizing  
issue, i think i will add in a spacer in to the second box which  
should fix the misalignment of the sections. :-)

I hadn't stared to modify the top banner to the final image yet, so i  
will have a look into this..

Sorry about this, i meant to mention in the email i sent out, this is  
still to be fixed. Due to the resent server problems, i haven't yet  
got trac admin access.. Once i have this i should be able to edit  
this bar to remove the unneeded items and adapt it to our needs :-)
