I've only seen this problem on one particular file, and unfortunately, 
I'm not sure I'm permitted to send it.  I tried making a basic file that 
would show the problem, but I couldn't get it to crash the optimizer.

I've got your version of the Optimizer fix compiling now, and I'll let 
you know how it goes.
