OSGPL-compliant license, we're left with OpenVRML.
* libx3d seems interesting but pretty much dead (one release in 2005)
* FreeWRL seems good but is GPL.
* The others are either viewers, modeling plugins or non-C++.
Maybe that list is incomplete, and a broader search could reveal more?
