No, I didn't miss anything and (even) more testing wouldn't have
helped: I can't reproduce that here. It works correctly. The capslock
state is queried on EnterNotify, so it can't really get out of
sync. Can't imagine what's going on on your machine.  :-/

In case you mean that the "Caps" text doesn't turn violet in
osgviewer, that's because that's only when the key is in pressed
state, not when caps lock is activated.
