That wasn't black humour, but disgust and desperation. ;-)

I found the capslock key useful on a mechanical typewriter -- lifting
the heavy carriage with the pinky is hard work. But on a computer
keyboard that key is a major annoyance. It isn't nearly as much help
in the 1% of cases where you pressed it intentionally, as it is a pain
in the 99% where you pressed it accidentally, mostly noticing when
YOU ALREADY TYPED HALF A SENTENCE ...  :-}
