Hi Robert,
BTW here is my changes that will enable the QuickTime
.live stuff to work on OSX/Windows without any changes
to the apps. Due to the release I'm attached a change to
osgmovie.cpp/CMakeLists as an alternative. So choose just
changing the osgmovie.cpp example as a low risk option,
or going ahead and integrating the change to Registry.cpp
which I have now done properly so the lookups are done
on the plugin/platform definitions, or the third option
of waiting until after 2.4.0. If you integrate the
change to Registry.cpp, then the change is not needed to
osgmovie.cpp obviously, and the stuff will work with
osgviewer, osgmovie and the Present3D apps. The changes
also require a CMakeLists.txt change which is attached.
As well as enabling the QuickTime .live work the change
also registers .mov files on Windows to use the "qt"
plug-in. I have only tested these changes on Windows
as I have no access to a Mac right now. None of these
changes should effect Linux by design that the CMake
system will not build the plug-in and the code changes
are Windows/OSX specific and should be #defined out for
any other platform.
Cheers,
Colin.
