I have some examples that's waiting to be submitted once the API has 
stabilised. One is for rendering 16 (32-bit float) channels of 
radiometric radiation instead of visual RGB. The other one is for 
accellerating a stereo matching algorithm. I'll convince a colleague to 
dig in his gpu gems books for another one as well.
