This is how you work.  Running install is a killer for me, its both
the time wasted and the need to invoke the install lots of key presses
that are totally unnecessary. Luckily I work under Linux where paths
work perfectly.

My guess is that some Windows would also prefer not to have to install
when they are do dev work.

Right now its just tentative proposal that Luigi volunteered to
experiment with at his end.  I'm not expecting anyone to down tools
for a great period.
