  You should be able to change the nodemasks involved in the osgShadow object. Refer to
the setCastsShadowTraversalMask and setReceivesShadowTraversalMask methods, which should
set masks on the osgShadow object (you should be able to see their values in the .osg
file). Make sure your node(s) do not have these mask bits set, and they will not be
affected by shadowing.
