The spherical display set up relates to a full spherical display with
a projector with 180 degrees fish eye lens at the base.  The base
mounting isn't normally right at the base of the sphere, rather
mounted slightly higher with a color around it, the color radius tells
the code where exactly its mounted.

The intensity map is an simply osg::Image used to brighten/darken
different regions on the sphere to compensate.  The IntensityMap
values in the .view files related to the angular position and the %
intensity.
